Morgan Robins, RM
Hello! My name is Morgan Robins (She/Her). I grew up in Northern Ontario in a little town near Thunder Bay. I moved to Southern Ontario when I was 16. When I started University I wanted to pursue a career in health care and I attended Brock University where I received a degree in Child Health in 2014. While pursuing this degree I discovered midwifery and the amazing quality of care and support midwives provide to birthing families. I had finally found something I was truly passionate about! After finishing my education at Brock I attended Laurentian University and graduated from the Midwifery Education Program receiving a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery in 2019. My first placement in the MEP was here at Community Care Midwives, under the guidance of Lesley. I had such an amazing experience with the community, the clients, and the midwives and knew I wanted to set up roots and stay in Durham to serve this community. I am so lucky to work in such an amazing environment and thank all of the clients who allow me to be a part of their journey. In my off call time I love spending time with my husband, new daughter and our pup Mickey. I love sports, especially hockey, but have recently taken up golf. I always enjoy a good book and curling up with popcorn and a good movie. I cannot wait to meet everyone! |
